Beyond 19 Program

On Friday 3rd October we were delighted to launch our Beyond 19 program in partnership with House of Pottery in Otley.

Beyond 19 provides pupils at Green Meadows valuable work experience, life skills training, and social interaction opportunities, preparing them for a more independent transition to adulthood—life beyond the traditional school years. The collaboration and mentoring from House of Pottery is the first stepping stone into creating a visionary, unique opportunity for pupils with SEND. One in which they can flourish and reach their potential. Showing alone the way that having a special need or disability is not a barrier to living a full and fruitful life.

We were delighted to be joined by Katie White, MP, Dan Cohen, Lord Mayor of Leeds and Paul Carter, Town Mayor of Otley. The pupils demonstrated confidence and their growing skillset serving hot drinks and cakes.

Pupils will be serving at the cafe Wednesday-Friday between 11 and 1:30pm. Please come down and show your support.
